Professionally qualified as a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore, India, and a Masters in Management Sciences from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, India. He has worked in the areas of Contract Management, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking and Real Estate Development. Srikanth has participated in Management Development Programs at IIM-Indore on Family Business Dynamics and on Strategic Marketing at ISB, Hyderabad.
Srikanth has written for many newspapers and magazines in the past including Deccan Herald and The Dalal Street Journal. He has also been interviewed or featured in The Forbes magazine, The Entrepreneur, Moneycontrol, Economic Times, Mint etc. He has served on the jury for Wealth Forum’s Best Financial Plan competition in 2017.He is also a blogger and a popular speaker at professional conferences across the country.
Among other affiliations, he earlier served as a member on the Corporate Laws & Taxation Committee of Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry. He is an active Rotarian and is Past President of Rotary Bangalore Midtown. He is a past co-director and mentor at Founder Institute, a technology startup accelerator to promote entrepreneurship. (FI is headquartered in San Francisco and is the world’s largest tech accelerator program.) He is a member of ARIA (Association of Registered Investment Advisors) and COFP (Council of Financial Planners). He is actively involved with seva activities and is a part of the Sri Sathya Sai Organisations. His interests range from travel writing and photography to motorcycling.
